  3. Thanks for e mailing me to tell me you were featuring the lovely clivia you have raised from the tiny plant I gave you.
    It completely synchronises with its parent which is in full flower 4 big flowers in our conservatory.
    I repotted mine last summer back into its large 8 inch pot. Its in my charcoal/soil compost that I have recently blogged about. Its the best it has ever been

    1. Have you ever managed to raise a seedling using the seeds that have been produced, Roger ? I am thinking of having a go once those seed pods ripn. I did try once with no success.

  4. What a stunning shade of orange {almost a shame it isn't out in the autumn} It is beautiful.
    I'm going to have to go look this one up now. I used to take care of my neighbour's Hippeastrums which look very similar, and I have a miniature plant that also looks very similar.

    1. Clivias are a sort of cousin of hippeastrums, Deborah but they are evergreen and don't grow from a bulb. They are smaller too.
