ReplyDeleteIt completely synchronises with its parent which is in full flower 4 big flowers in our conservatory.
I repotted mine last summer back into its large 8 inch pot. Its in my charcoal/soil compost that I have recently blogged about. Its the best it has ever been
Have you ever managed to raise a seedling using the seeds that have been produced, Roger ? I am thinking of having a go once those seed pods ripn. I did try once with no success.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to go look this one up now. I used to take care of my neighbour's Hippeastrums which look very similar, and I have a miniature plant that also looks very similar.
Clivias are a sort of cousin of hippeastrums, Deborah but they are evergreen and don't grow from a bulb. They are smaller too.
DeleteI wish ours were flowering like that, I don't think they receive enough heat in the heated greenhouse.
