It looks cold! Great pictures again, but I do love the 'woolly cows' a lot!
ReplyDeleteI love the woolly cows too, Deborah - they were the stars!
ReplyDeleteI could kiss those wooly faces! How sweet. Hubby is trying to talk me into raising Scottish Highlanders, but they would just become expensive pets. Who could butcher a sweet mug like that!!!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't eat any animal that I had got to know, Sue. I thinkmost people would have problems when they have seen this photo
DeleteLooks a great winter wander, Sue. Loving the cows and blue tits, but it is the frame work of the trees on walks that I really love on walks like this. Nice captures, guessing you were both wrapped up warm :-)
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't actually very cold, Shirley - just grey and miserable. I started to drizzle so we had to quickly head back to the visitors centre for a latte.
DeleteHow lovely, we have some Highland cattle in the fields behind my house. They look rather impressive in the mists x
ReplyDeleteIt's surprising how many reserves keep Highland cattle, Jo
DeleteThese woolly cows look like bison, Sue. But I think they aren't aggressive like bisons. Lovely blue tits!
ReplyDeleteThey are gentle giants, Nadezda.
DeleteI do like those Highland Cattle.
ReplyDeleteThey seem to have quite a fan club, Brian
DeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Endah
Deletebeautiful! Are those cow or goat? never seen them here!
ReplyDeleteThey are cows, Malar. Highland cattle to be exact. They wouldn't like your climate.
DeleteGoodness, those woolly cows are beautiful. I love them!xxx
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteOoh, I love Potteric Carr. Might be visiting there soon so will keep a look out for the cattle.
ReplyDeleteHave you been since they built the new visitors' centre?
