    1. I thought so, a different variety than my Valley Valentine...and maybe it is just your more robust climate that makes the buds so large as ours are shivering in their smallness))). Thank you Sue.

  9. I am sooo ready for spring too Sue, and my garden is also showing the same signs, plus crocuses, snowdrops, irises and hellebores just starting out. Yep, not that long until spring, can’t wait!

  10. Oh how beautiful. I love to see the buds waiting for the next season. I have a little white magnolia with soft silver buds on it.

    1. Our magnolia has small buds too CJ which can be seen now the leaves have all dropped.

    Can I ask what the plant is in the bottom 2 pictures please Sue? It's lovely. Lots of buds here too and we had our first snow this afternoon!
