Always fun to see. There's a super shot of a bee against a borage flower, and isn't Ruby growing fast?
ReplyDeleteRuby is just about fully grown now, Deborah but still a puppy in character.
DeleteLove seeing all your butterflies as well as your harvest. Ruby is keeping a keen eye on things.
ReplyDeleteRuby doesn’t miss a thing, Lisa - at times we wish that she did!
DeleteGreat pictures capturing another busy month.Especially love Ruby and the insects.xxx
ReplyDeleteRuby likes insects too, Dina. She plays at bring a big game Hunter with them.
DeleteIt looks like you're getting some good harvests, and plenty of flowers on the plot too bringing in those all important pollinators.
ReplyDeleteMost of the flowers are in the garden, Jo my usual annuals failed miserably this year.
DeleteYour harvest is abundant Sue. A lot of veggies, corn - do you love to grow your own corn? Lovely dahlias, sunflower, anemone.
ReplyDeleteYour dog is a puppy? he's very pretty.
Ruby is almost 8 months old now, Nadezda so she is still a puppy although she is just about her full size now. The corn has been good this year although last year we had a complete crop failure
DeleteSue, I always love seeing these posts for the colour and richness in subjects. My eye caught the ringlet (think that's the ID) that's a butterfly I haven't seen in the garden yet. Guessing it was at your allotment? Also guessing with so many plants there you see a lot of butterflies down the plot (plus from memory you have a few large buddleja).
ReplyDeleteI think the butterfly you mean is a speckled wood butterfly Shirley and you do remember correctly. The butterflies were at the allotment
DeleteA wonderful record of the month, so much produce and colour.
ReplyDeleteOh ! What a joyful gallery of pictures ! I did enjoy that ! :) A very Happy Autumn to you ! :)
ReplyDeleteApples and potatoes - fall is here! I'll be digging up my potatoes soon - am hoping that I like what I find in the soil :)
