  4. It looks like you're getting some good harvests, and plenty of flowers on the plot too bringing in those all important pollinators.

  5. Your harvest is abundant Sue. A lot of veggies, corn - do you love to grow your own corn? Lovely dahlias, sunflower, anemone.
    Your dog is a puppy? he's very pretty.

    1. Ruby is almost 8 months old now, Nadezda so she is still a puppy although she is just about her full size now. The corn has been good this year although last year we had a complete crop failure

  6. Sue, I always love seeing these posts for the colour and richness in subjects. My eye caught the ringlet (think that's the ID) that's a butterfly I haven't seen in the garden yet. Guessing it was at your allotment? Also guessing with so many plants there you see a lot of butterflies down the plot (plus from memory you have a few large buddleja).

    1. I think the butterfly you mean is a speckled wood butterfly Shirley and you do remember correctly. The butterflies were at the allotment

  9. Apples and potatoes - fall is here! I'll be digging up my potatoes soon - am hoping that I like what I find in the soil :)
