DeleteBringing such a spark of joy as the season turns into Summer {even if the weather is a bit hotch podge}
ReplyDeleteIt’s definitely been summery today, Deborah
DeleteLooking good. The first blooms are always so exciting.
ReplyDeleteThey are indeed, Lisa with the added bonus of perfume
DeleteBeautiful roses!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Endah
DeleteBeautiful. I've heard many people say how early their roses are this year but I don't have a single bloom on any of mine yet. Oh well, there's still the anticipation of what's to come. In response to your comment on my blog, I'd definitely give Temple Newsam a miss, it was so busy. Did you go to Lotherton last year when you said you might? If not, you may want to try there. There's no charge for entry at the moment and it's been really quiet when we've visited. Park in the car park round the back and walk through the orchard to get to the woodland, Ruby would love it.
ReplyDeleteWe did visit Lotherton last year when it was really busy and there were long queues waiting to get in, Jo. Maybe we will try again;

ReplyDeleteIt’s been really windy for three days, Margaret so the roses are being battered about poor things.
DeleteBeautiful. Strangely (cos I'm not easily moved) I find the top red one quite moving. Must be the way you've photographed it!
ReplyDeleteI wonder why, Lucy maybe it’s something to do with being shut inside.
DeleteOh, they really are lovely, it's the same here, roses blooming far earlier, it must be the warm spring weather.xxx
ReplyDeleteI think this warm weather is speeding things up, Dina.
