  1. So many flowers on your plot. What is the first flower?

    1. It’s a helianthemum, Julieanne. Half the photos were taken on the plot and half in the garden.

  2. Nice tour! I like the dismissive "More onions" at 5:58. I have reached the same conclusion as you about planting up onion sets in modules - Shallots even more so. Yes, the broad beans are early into flower this year. Do you see this as a bad thing?
If I dida video tour of my plot I could string it out to about... 3 mins!

    1. It’s not so much that the beans are flowering early just that the plants don’t seem to be growing very well, Mal so I’m not sure whether they will support the beans. I look forward to a video of your plot.

  4. A lovely wander around your plot :) I've had a bit of a surprise when it came to the onions as well - our feb, march and april sowings all look to be around same size right now...still a ways off from harvest, but it will be interesting to see if there ends up being any difference when it comes to the bulbs themselves.

    1. It will, Margaret! We grow our onions from sets. We've never tried sowing onion seeds although we do grow leeks from seed but they can stay in the ground longer.

    1. Martyn usually does the weekly plot tours, Belinda. He posts on his YouTube channel and on our vlog but he was busy and delegated me for this one.

    1. Not having to go to work certainly helps, Dina and of course weed control fabric. I wish we had used it years ago.

  7. What a beautiful little collection of flowers - I adore them all. (Sorry, I don't like videos so I didn't watch it but I am sure it was lovely too) xxx

    1. Thanks Carrie, no apologies needed. There are times when my eyes are at their worst when I find watching videos challenging too.
