It's amazing to see new shoots appearing along with last year's tomatoes in the same month, especially when there's been ice around as you show in your photos.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is, Jo
DeleteLovely to see your round up; I really don't think I'd have the patience to line everything up so nicely, as you have done! Happy New Year from a wildly windy west Wales!
ReplyDeleteHappy new year to you too, Deborah. The photos are separate collages just posted one after the other, I create one each week for my web site diary. Photoshop has guidelines and alignment tools that mean it can be done fairly quickly.
DeleteWOW girl! That's a lot of awesomeness in one blog post. Thank you for the encouragement! I haven't been near the allotment in months and only tentatively returned to blogging today. Your hard work and success is a real push. xx
ReplyDeleteI hope 2018 is gentle with you Carrie.
DeleteIt looks like December was cold, wet, and gray. I guess I noticed that because that is what we hoped for here and didn't get.
ReplyDeleteWhat a month you've had - the contrast between green and snow/ice is striking. And tomatoes in December, now that's a treat!
ReplyDeleteIt was a treat Margaret. Fortunately the snow and ice was short lived. In fact I had to be quick to manage a photo of the snow.
DeleteSome wonderful images here. Loved the tomatoes and new shoots, who thought you'd see the two together.xxx
ReplyDeleteIndeed, Dina - who would have thought it?
DeleteThis is a brilliant way of showcasing your month and great to see how much produce you're still harvesting. Fantastic pictures of the ice but I especially love the steam trains! Reminds me of my youth!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Caro. Steam trains are very photogenic. I’m second camera person as Martyn using the video we take to create his films. The photos are grabbed from the video.
