Monday, December 4

There were no visits to the allotment last week and it wasn't all due to the weather.

Monday we all - Martyn, my sister, and I - had a visit from our hairdresser. At this point, I was already feeling snuffly and below par. Then on Tuesday, the sniffles developed into the worst cold that I can remember having for years. The unheard of happened and I spent most of the day in bed.

Wednesday, I was up and about again but couldn't stray far from my box of tissues.

Thursday I was still wedded to the box of tissues, on top of which the weather had turned cold and we had a sprinkling of snow. Martyn popped out and took a few photos for me.

  1. I'm sorry to hear you've been under the weather - we have been at our home too. Tis the season, I think. I hope you are feeling much better now - the beauty of your world was captured beautifully by Martyn!

    1. I almost fully recovered Marilyn and I managed to tale most of the photos myself. Martyn took the ones on our garden. Martyn tends to prefer to tale video that he posts nere

  2. Thank you so much for visiting my blog, it's always good to know when people come by, and I always enjoy the comments. Your wintery pics are beautiful. I appreciate all kinds of seasons but here in our area it is rare to experience snow but on that rare occasion I do enjoy it. I'm in N FL, in my life I have experienced it a handful of times. Your visit has encouraged me to write on my blog more often. I had an accident not long ago, 2 months ago. I pretty much had to have my left foot rebuilt, OUCH. I certainly have the time to work on my blog so thank you. I'm still not walking yet but just began using a walker, I'm having to take baby steps. I most often blog about what I'm cooking but right now I'm not doing any cooking so I do need to get creative. Please do come again.

    1. Thank you Anon, It would be good if you could sign your first name then I know what to call you, Which was your blog? I am sorry but I don't know where N Fl is

Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment - it is great to hear from you and know that there are people out there actually reading what I write! Come back soon.
