I got a rash after we got Ella because she had to put her face against mine. I went to a dermatologist and she said that wasn't why. I was flabbergasted... Then she had me try all sorts of stuff. I ended up with hives and sunburn. Finally I googled rashes and saw oatmeal water works. Just fab the area and let it dry. It worked. This summer I got bit by ants and developed a rash. The doctor started trying to prescribe stuff and I remembered about the oatmeal water. It worked again. Sure was cheaper than anything the professionals prescribed.
ReplyDeleteAt least at our age we get free prescriptions Bonnie but I don’t want to use too much steroid ointment. Do you make the oatmeal water yourself?
DeleteI've never been able to get an amaryllis to flower a second time, they throw up plenty of leaves but never a flower. I've given up trying now. We had a blue tit doing exactly the same thing, it kept coming back and was there for a few days.
ReplyDeleteIt took two years to build up the bulb, Jo but we didn’t feed it just kept watering. I noticed two buds are popping up.
DeleteI’ve seen a lot of pictures of pulmonaria recently, but I don’t think any are growing on-site which is a shame. I think the wildlife would appreciate some of that blue in these dull months.
ReplyDeleteYour meals look nice, I still can’t resist adding tomatoes/paprika so my meals always look red; I fancy a stew that looks like yours!
Mine meals always look yellow, Belinda as I add turmeric
