  7. All beauties Sue! They are just beginning to get into their stride here although unfortunately the molluscs have gone to town on the foliage recently.

  8. I agree with everyone Sue, these are stunners. Dahlias have never been a flower that caught my eye until I went to the autumn harrogate flower show a few years ago and what a display there was. I never knew there's such a variety in flower shapes, patterns and colours. Enjoy yours.

    1. There is certainly a wide variety, Shirley. We don’t grow those with huge flowers any more as they aren’t really good for cut flowers in a normal home setting,

  9. Every year I buy some dahlias, but they never bloom. I don't think it is warm enough here. Yours are amazing. I especially love the orange ones.

  10. So lovely!! I started mine in the ground (instead of in pots early) and I'm delighted that they are starting to bud out and I should start to get a show soon :)
