What wonderful photos, Sue! Deer need more food in winter.
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas to you and Martin!
Thanks Nadezda. The photo was taken a couple of years or so ago when we last saw ant snow that amounted to anything. It was only a few miles from us but on higher ground. WE didn't have a snowflake so it came as a bit of a surprise. The best way to experience snow when you can just drive away from it.
DeleteLovely photos. No chance of a white Christmas this year. Wishing you and Martyn a very merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jo
DeleteWishing you both a most Merry Christmas and I hope that the new year treats you, the garden and plot gently xxx

DeleteI was thinking we might have snow for Christmas a couple of weeks ago. Almost a shame it didn’t last. Almost.
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas to both of you.
The particular day when the photo was taken was how I like snow, Jessica not on my doorstep so left behind after enjoying it.
DeleteAhhh..just beautiful pictures. Lucky you seeing them, where was that? All the very best to you both.xxx
ReplyDeleteIt was Wentworth Castle deer park Dina. They used to have a deer feeding week from Bowing day ti New Year but at the moment the estate is closed to the public as they have lost their funding. The photos were taken a couple of years ago. The feeding gave the opportunity ti get up close. It was amazing to see the deer respond to the whistling and herds run from cover. After the feeding we went for a walk and saw the tractor arrived with the hay. More photos are here in our potfolio
DeleteLovely scenes. Best wishes and good health to you both Sue for 2018
ReplyDeleteThanks Brian and you too.
