What a pleasure seeing your goldfinches. What a feast they are having in this awful weather.xxx
ReplyDeleteThe goldfinches are a permanent fixture most of the year, Dina. The sunflowers are emptied daily
DeleteWe have a feeder attached to the picture window in my wife's studio. I keep it stocked in sunflower seeds and the birds are busy all day. Our goldfinches aren't quite as colorful as yours though.
ReplyDeleteFunnily a lot of our birds have the same names but look quite different don't they, Dave. In Victorian days goldfinches were kept on cages - a case of their looks being their downfall.

ReplyDeleteGlad that you enjoyed it, Anna. Greenfinches have reduced in number in our garden.
DeleteThat's a busy feeder. BTW the goldfinches have been happy with the open grated sunflower heart feeder I got.
ReplyDeleteIt is busy, Mal. They love if.
