ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not I couldn't bring myself to pick any, Mark nor the daffodils that were also flowering
DeleteBeautiful shade of pink--I adore those tulips!
ReplyDeleteThey are now open, Sue
DeletePretty little pears, that last tree (photo number 4) was it damaged and you had to cut a part of it away or did it just decide to lean by itself?
ReplyDeleteWe suffer from strong winds across the plot and this tree seems to have been affected by the prevailing winds more than the others, Leanan
DeleteLovely tulips! I just spotted ours coming up in the front garden - finally!!! I'm hoping to see blooms in another few weeks.
ReplyDeleteThese have opened up,completely now.
DeleteIsn't Spring wonderful!

DeleteYour tulips are a lovely shade. The ones I planted last year are just about to flower. It will be interesting to see the colours. I really need to keep better notes xx

DeleteHow lovely to see the pear blossom, mine is just emerging too. Oh my, what adorable tulips! Such a beautiful shade of pink.xxx
ReplyDeleteThe blossom opened in the sun yesterday, Dina
DeleteAlthough blossom is always great to see, it's the tulips that caught my eye too. Yours are ahead of mine too, although I was seriously late in planting them!
ReplyDeleteThe tulips have been planted for quite a while. Shirley and have bulked up a lot. They came from a cheap bag of mixed that turned out to be just red and yellow. These always flower first - the yellow are just showing colour. The tulips in the garden are not open at all yet, It depends on type and variety. Our little species tulips have been flowering for ages.
DeleteThat all looks great, how old are your pear trees ?
ReplyDeleteThey were planted March 2010, Jayne
DeleteTulips catch my eyes too! It's so spectacular in pink!
ReplyDeleteAs the tulips grow they become redder, Malar.
DeleteLovely. It's good to make full use of the bed. Looks like you've got lots more tulips yet to bloom.
ReplyDeleteThe next lot in this bed are the yellow ones, Jo..
