It's official - the gardening season has begun

  3. I heard a tip about putting packets of seed in order of the month of sowing in the sleeves of a photo album (those that look like a book). Last year I did just that and put them on a shelf somewhere and forgot about them! I'll use them this year, if I can find them.

  6. I use the shoe-box system too (mine is actually a boot-box - i.e. a BIG shoe-box!). Presumably the photo shows only a small proportion of your seed stash though??

  8. Ooh, exciting, mine should arrive this month as well I think. The allotment society orders seeds from DT Brown, with a one-third discount, so I buy most of mine from there. I too have a shoe box, and I've put in a few monthly dividers.

    1. A group of us on site are members of the NSALG, CJ so we can order from Kings who also offer large discounts through that.
