Just a few shots of gannets and puffins taken at Bempton Cliffs

    1. They are sand eels, Jo. The hole at its feet is it’s nest hole. It was checking that the coast was clear so it could pop n and feed its young.

  3. Fabulous! I go quite often and only managed to see one puffin and that was through the telescope of a kind twitcher

    1. We saw more puffins than we have ever seen before, L. There was also a large flock of them bobbing on the water but I couldn’t get a clear enough photo of that just enough to be able to identify them.

    1. We have been to Bempton a few times, Margaret as it isn’t too far away from us but there did seem to be more puffins this time.
