The weather's just an absolute nightmare this year. Friday I was out on the river and it was a gloriously warm and sunny day. This morning, I got up and it looked like we'd get more of the same but, instead, we got hevy rain and it actually felt pretty cold and autumnal. No doubt more rain tomorrow as it's a Bank Holiday! Have you got a sheet of plastic or a tarp you could rig up over your alliums to keep the rain off?
We do have some plastic but I'm not sure how we could rig something up that still allowed air flow when it was dry. As the allotment isn't close to home we can't be there to keep taking something off. Thanks for the visit and comment.
