ReplyDeleteThe Goldfinches seem to have had a winter boycott but today a few have been at the sunflower hearts and nyjer seed, and one of the posh pairs of Bullfinches have turned up to.
We seem to have a resident flock or goldfinches, David - they hog the sunflower hearts. I've not spotted any bullfinches for a while though.

ReplyDeleteIt was, Shirley. I think we are a stopping point on a journey to elsewhere. We maybe have a very short visit once a year but I think sometimes we miss seeing them.
