Having been in self imposed isolation for much of the year nothing much changes here either! I'm enjoying watching the flying flowers though, as we move into winter. You stay safe as well.
I have wondered about bulgur, Jane but haven’t yet tried it.
No snow here. We are in the Aire valley so tend to miss most of the snow which falls on higher ground on the North Yorkshire Moors or the Pennine areas.
Although I haven't used any of my photos in my own home, I have had framed prints and canvases made for gifts, as well as photo books. It's a lovely, personal gift to give, always well received. Just thought I'd mention, when I click to open up the recipe links, it keeps telling me "function disabled" No idea what that is.
I’ve a couple of canvas prints in our bedroom, Deborah and one in the summerhouse that. I wasn’t as impressed with. I think your link problem may be something set up on your device as I think other visitors can access the links.
I love your idea to decorate walls with prints Sue. I think you chose a nice one. Where do you want to place it? Of course, Freecycle helps to people who need some items. I do send my things to the charity box.
I love your prints and cards Sue. It was the same in Liverpool as we seemed to be perpetually locked down. I'm loving that curry, I'll give that a whirl tomorrow, Thanks for that. The decorating is looking good, here's to your paper arriving. I'm glad to hear your unwanted items were snaffled up. Oh, your flying flower is gorgeous.xxx
Will investigate your recipes later Sue as we are cutting down very much on our meat consumption. Just wish that I liked curries more. I can only eat the very mildest. Martin doesn't sound quite ready to pass his train driving test just yet 😄
You can adjust any curry recipe by just using a mild curry paste or powder or just adding a small amount, Anna or by mixing your own spices. You just need to experiment. No I wouldn't want to travel in a train that Martyn was driving.
That are lovely photos and your cards are very Christmassy - definitely not too soon now Sue 😁 Your veggie/bean curry looks delicious. I was on veg and beans this week, I wish I’d thought to add curry to one batch
Oh so glad you're keeping well . Just look at all those lovely healthy vegetables . Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and soon the day light hours will be getting longer :) xxx

ReplyDeleteYou stay safe as well.
The flying flowers are oblivious to our problems aren’t they Jessica? I’ll have to clean the window then I can take some better photos.
DeleteHave you tried bulgur? I think it is great, quick and versatile.
ReplyDeleteGuardian has a photo gallery of UK snow mostly in North Yorkshire. Did you get any/

It's old. I hadn't realized that.

What type of device and which browser are you using.
DeleteSpice grinder = coffee grinder but don't use one for both! Merry run up to Christmas 😋
ReplyDeleteAny particular one that you have found good for spices, Mal?

This one is going on a second wall in the dining room, Nadezda. I’ll take a photo when it’s up
ReplyDeleteI take things to charity shops too but not during the pandemic.
