DeleteHow exciting to see signs of the new allotment year Sue 😄 I bought some seed potatoes today and am now wondering where to keep them. I don't really want to plant before mid April. I will probably keep them in an unheated bedroom. Where do you store yours?
ReplyDeleteWe have set our seed potatoes out in the summerhouse, Anna and will throw some fleece over if frosts are predicted.
DeleteThat sounds an ideal spot. We no longer have an outdoor shed so the bedroom is the coolest spot I can find. At least I don't have to worry about any frost damage.
DeleteYour allotment looks lush even during winter. All the new starts are exciting to see. Even our snowdrops are blooming now. We had several days of above normal temps so they popped open. I almost had a hellebore blooming too but now it is back to winter. It won't be long tho.

DeleteI always enjoy seeing your photos of the Wildlife Park and it's nice to see signs of plants beginning to wake up too, but my favourite this month has to be Tivvy, such a lovely photo.

DeleteWhat great photos! I can't get over how green it is. I needed to see some green, as my world is very white right now.
ReplyDeleteYou do get lots of snow don’t you, Bonnie. Usually at most we will have a week’s worth each year and not really deep.
