Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jo/
DeleteNice pictures Sue we have lots of Cerinthe purple wax in the garden the bees love them, on another subject should you be feeling flush the new Sony RX10 MKiii mirrorless camera has a zoom going from wide angle to 600mm I believe your FZ100 goes to 400mm
ReplyDeleteThe cerinthes are self seeded, David. These photos were taken with the FZ72 which is 20-1200 (digital) 600mm optical My FZ1000 is 25 -400 (optical zoom and up to 800 using Izoom. Martyn is the one who keeps updating his cameras mainly for videoing purposes, (although when we go train chasing I am now commissioned to take video so we have a variety of angles for Martyn's films). I ended up with the FZ100 when he cast it aside. I tend to take the FZ72 to the plot.
DeleteGreat pics!
ReplyDeleteThanks Julieanne
DeleteGorgeous! Hope you have a very fine week in the garden
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sue

ReplyDeleteIsn't it interesting how close-up photos can reveal hitherto unnoticed detail, Deborah?
DeleteThanks for the flowers. It is snowing here, so they are much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI hope that your snow disappears soon, Bonnie
DeleteLovely - esp. eying those strawberry flowers as we will be starting a new bed this year, so no harvest until next year.
ReplyDeleteWe kept our old bed in place for the first year of planting our new plants, Margaret so we at least had some berries to pick but we had the space to do this.
DeleteThe first flower is so interesting, unusual color!
ReplyDeleteThe first flower is a self sown cerinthe, Endah, It is an unusual flower. It isn't as large as the photo seems implies.
DeletePerfect photos..Gorgeous! Believe you have a fine week in the garden....
