Purple heather

  2. Gorgeous. We used to have it in the garden when I was little, and now I love to see it all over the mountains of north Wales. You've reminded me how beautiful it is.

    1. We used to have a heather bed in the garden CJ but that is long gone. We bought a few plants for some winter colour in our tubs. This is one of them.

  3. I'm not sure which is prettier ~ heather close up or in the distance when it makes a deep purple haze over the moors.

    1. The wild heathers look good in carpets, Deborah but we haven't really swathes of heather in our garden just a couple of tubs.
