  4. Looks like an idyllic spot. Did you see any Dragonflies? Roger will no doubt be admiring your picture of the "Corvid". Looks like it deserves to be known as "Stroppy Crow"!

    1. There are dragon and damselflies, Mark I think it is theJackdaw's blue eyes,. Mine are blue too

  5. What a fabulous post, after a busy day I am now totally chilled and relaxed, so thanks for that! I did enjoy the birds, always good to see them in the wild, and is that a dog rose....how pretty! Thanks for the treat!xxx

    1. The second bird is a lapwing Margaret, We used to see flocks of them in fields but don't any more.
