Again Martyn and I have both posted a video of our plot.
Some of the photos are a different shape as they were grabbed from the video but all can be enlarged by clicking in them
Some things have grown since our last tour but some things have struggled to thrive mainly due to the constant battering from strong winds and the lack of any sustained spring warmth.
There are still plenty of empty beds to be filled so we really do need some good weather so we can get on with things.
The video is about 12½ minutes long and again is complete with us wittering so if you prefer short sweet visits I've added some photos so hopefully everyone will be happy.

It all looks so neat! Just lovely. And I, for one, am glad you post photos. My lousy internet would take two days to load a 12 minute video!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week
Hello Sue - thank you for your comments - I'll pop to your blog and take a look soon
DeleteLooks very tidy and makes me wonder whether my garden will look nearly as great sometime in the future.
ReplyDeleteHope, you'll finally get some warm spring weather!
Angela
Hello Angela - thank you, By the way is it possible to have a translate button on your blog so I can have a read.
DeleteEverything is looking so nice.
ReplyDeleteThank you Daphne
DeleteGreat to hear you both chatting round your video plot tour! It’s some years since I've done one of those but it was only every meant for my ears so well done to you both! I know how time consuming these can be. Your plot is looking great btw and so was your garden in a previous post – going back to see it again :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you Shirley - we had a giggle doing it.
DeleteWonderful garden tour & how lucky you are to have someone to share it with that is just as enthusiastic about it as you are! Another great thing about garden tours - they really inspire me to get out there and tidy things up...well, at least until I get sidetracked by the next urgent task.
ReplyDeleteIt does make a difference when you garden with someone else, Margaret. We are lucky in that we enjoy many of the same things,
DeleteHow wonderful to see all the fruit forming! Here's to the June drop being non-existent! Sadly I can only seem to see about two minutes of the video, I think our internet connection is rubbing on tree branches again! I shall try to see it all later.xxx
ReplyDeleteIt's an anxious time too . Dina :)
DeleteGreat Video Sue....it still amazes me how big your plot is!! It makes me happy to hear that your main crop spuds didn't go in that long ago as mine are still waiting to be planted and I also haven't go my brasicas sorted yet......I forget how hectic it is at this time of year!!!
ReplyDeleteWe popped in some brassicas yesterday Tanya but still more waiting to be planted. We still have some potatoes to plant and found last year that the late planted ones did really well.,
DeleteGreat video sue, nice to see your plots again. Did you say your garlics are starting to yellow? Mine are, but I'm not sure if it's because of lack of nutrients or just that they're starting to mature, so whether I need to lift them yet. The last time I grew quite a few, I left them in the ground til the leaves died back more but a lot of them had rotted and I dont wNt to make the same mistake again.
ReplyDeleteThe leaves are yellowing at the ends Lou but I don't lift them, until ;the foliage does, Mine were small last year.
