Hurrah!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sowing
Soon, Gill soon
DeletePerhaps it's my age. But a pile of new seed packets is one of the most exciting things there is!
ReplyDeleteEspecially when they come in a nice big box, Rebecca, A few specials arrived today from a different company,
DeleteHow exciting, happy sowing with all that lot!
ReplyDeleteWe will have to wait a little while yet, Jo
DeleteI heard a tip about putting packets of seed in order of the month of sowing in the sleeves of a photo album (those that look like a book). Last year I did just that and put them on a shelf somewhere and forgot about them! I'll use them this year, if I can find them.
ReplyDeleteWe have a shoe box filing system, L
DeleteIt won't be long until those packets are being opened now. Roll on spring.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for spring, Jo my favourite season
DeleteNice. Though in a way your season has never ended as you keep pulling harvests out of the ground.
ReplyDeleteThat's just gathering Daphne not real gardening :)
DeleteI use the shoe-box system too (mine is actually a boot-box - i.e. a BIG shoe-box!). Presumably the photo shows only a small proportion of your seed stash though??
ReplyDeleteMartyn has quite large feet, Mark. These are the new ones from just Kings.
DeleteThat's a lot of treasure you have there!!!! Roll on sowing day! xxx
ReplyDeleteRoll on on deed, Dina
DeleteOoh, exciting, mine should arrive this month as well I think. The allotment society orders seeds from DT Brown, with a one-third discount, so I buy most of mine from there. I too have a shoe box, and I've put in a few monthly dividers.
ReplyDeleteA group of us on site are members of the NSALG, CJ so we can order from Kings who also offer large discounts through that.
DeleteThat's alot of sowing there sue, very exciting time. Always love this time of year, so full of promise 😀
ReplyDeleteIt is, Linda we are all full of optimism for the coming season.
DeleteHard to beat the first delivery of new seeds for the year! All hope and no disappointment. Wish it stayed that way ;-)
ReplyDeleteIf only, Janet,
