  4. That looks like a really high maintenance garden to me and evidence of autumn as the plantings are going over. So much green. Not sure about the contemporary garden - it kind of looks a little out of place. The wilder areas are wonderful especially around the water.

  10. I shall add this to next year's list. Really enjoyed Breezy Knees with its September garden although, as you reported, I couldn't buy the plants I wanted. Visited Alnwick this week which didn't live up to expectations and very expensive (not RHS concessions and a £3 parking fee before you even arrive).
