A bee or not a bee? - That is the question.

  1. Great shots, Sue! It must be a good camera. I've been getting problem with my smartphone. It have very good camera for me, as it just a smartphone. So I'm too late to upload my post and response the comments in my blog. Actually I often make draft using my smartphone and it's really help me on blogging. Hope it will be OK soon. And I can blogging as usual.

  2. I've never seen a bee fly, I know my eyesight is getting worse but I've seen so many photos of them on blogs this year and yet still haven't seen one myself.

  7. It's often difficult to tell the difference between bees and flies. I love watching them all flit around the garden doing their thing!

  11. First one not a bee and has a nasty bite :/ second one a bee, third not a bee, forth a bumblebee :D
    Of all them my favorite is a bumblebee they do their job, don't mind you poking around and almost never sting.

  12. Honeybees look like wasps though don't they? I love the Bumblebee and any Bee that is obviously a Bee but if it resembles a wasp or is a wasp I freak lol.

    1. I've heard lots of people refer to honeybees as wasps, Linda. A long as it isn't wearing yellow and black stripes you're OK. :)

  14. Those bees seem to be posing for the photo! We have a bees nest in our compost bin, but i think they're bumble not honey bees.

  15. I'm leaving the compost bin alone as it is at the back corner of the garden. Hope to reclaim it at the end of the season.
