Wordless Wednesday - Floral Feast

  1. The pansies are a great selection of colours. Did you grow them from seed? I really want an astrantia, I keep seeing them on people's blogs and I love them yet I've never grown them before. I think I'll move it to the top of my wish list.

    1. The top ones are violas, Jo. The size of the flowers doesn't really come across in the photos. Our pink astrantia has now bulked up nicely whereas the white one hasn't been planted long so is still a bit spindly

  9. So beautiful Sue. Do you eat the violas? I've heard you can sprinkle them into a salad. I haven't gone beyond the occasional chive flower yet, but I quite fancy a nasturtium.

    1. No we don't, CJ - we have never come round to eating flowers except cauliflower and broccoli and after all they are too pretty to eat.
