Great photos Sue.
ReplyDeleteI've got two acers, same variety, one has turned brilliant red and is shedding leaves the other is still green. Aspect makes a huge difference!
These were all taken on the plot, Jessica, must take some in the garden! Axers do have beautiful autumn colour
DeleteThe leaves are definitely all changing now. It won't be long before the trees are bare again.
ReplyDeleteSome already are, Jo
Deletecolorful leaves, autumn color. In tropics there are some trees that turn their leaves color during the dry season, and then fall. I think its look like autumn in the sub tropics
ReplyDeleteProbably for the same reasons, Endah
DeleteBeautiful colours for a beautiful season. It's November and I have just ventured into the greenhouse to take up the tomatoes plants and found that my tomatoes are actually now ready to eat! This certainly was a late gardening year. x
ReplyDeleteThe tomatoes have dragged their heels this year have't they, Chel?
DeleteStunning pictures Sue. Am I seeing a blueberry leaf in there? They are some of my favourites - such nice plants, wonderful fruit and then the most beautiful autumn colour.
ReplyDeleteYou are CJ - two in fact - one that looks a bit like a tongue and the one after that.
DeleteYou've captured the colours of autumn wonderfully well, Sue. These photos will be a wonderful reminder when the branches are all bare. Gotta love those deciduous trees!
ReplyDeleteWhen the trees are bare you can really enjoy the shapes can't you, Caro?
DeleteGreat leaves, Sue!
ReplyDeletePity that they have to turn wet and mushy Nadezda
DeleteGreat colours. It would be difficult to reproduce them with a paintbox!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly would L. Thanks for commenting.
DeleteSome fantastic colours and shapes there Sue, I always forget that there is a lot of purple in autumn too. xxxx
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how varied autumn colours are, Snowbird.
