Awww, they're fluffy. Fabulous photos, you must be very pleased with those.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit Martyn took these, Jo
DeleteSit and looked bemused....? Or pose nicely for the camera.
ReplyDeleteThere were about a dozen of them, Mark but some wouldn't sit still
DeleteHow cute! Great shots.
ReplyDeleteVery cute TPals
DeleteWell done on capturing these - don't you just love watching fledglings, it can be quite comical at times.
ReplyDeleteWe have quite a few young birds of various species Angie and all are so cute and as you say comical as they learn the ropes
DeleteOh wonderful. Such fantastic photos, I am really impressed. I suppose they must fly away soon. Sigh. But then we will have the winter birds back which will be lovely. And so it goes.
ReplyDeleteThat's life CJ as long as they come back each year.
DeleteLol.....we hang on for grim death!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable, and what amazing pics, so clear and detailed. It's not easy to capture a swift, fledgeling or not.
I loved this.xxxx
It's quite difficult to distinguish colours when looking at the sky but I'm pretty sure that they are swallows, Snowbird. We had the advantage of seeing more of them at close quarters as they whizz around the houses. Also I did try taking some photos from an upstairs window where I was closer to them but the resulting photos were a bit blurred. I've never seen swifts round here just swallows and house martins.
DeleteOMG Sue, those are fabulous photos, very very impressive :)
ReplyDeleteWe have them flying all over but never manage to get a picture of one.
Thanks for sharing :)
We were just lucky, Linda that they chose to land on the telephone wires near our house and were there when we came back from the plot. We haven't seen them since.
