I don’t have much to write about this week as we have more or less been confined indoors.
Martyn had another appointment at the hospital to have the dressing on his nose changed. Everything is going well, so now we have to change the dressings ourselves. I wasn’t allowed to accompany, Martyn so he had to teach me how to fix the dressing as it’s impossible to dress your own nose. They have booked him another appointment for next week which he can cancel if he feels that he doesn’t need it.
I had the results of my biopsies, well I say results but I still don’t know exactly what has caused my rash. My letter just said that no other treatment is needed and that a follow up appointment will be made in due course.
I can't believe they didn't show you how to help your husband with his dressings. Glad your rash wasn't a harbinger of something worse. Hope the rest of your year is healthy.
ReplyDeleteIt’s all down to COVID restrictions, Bonnie. Only the patient allowed in the consulting room.
DeleteThat stroganoff looks very tasty; there are plenty of veggie chicken-substitutes I could use.
ReplyDeleteI hope your household is back to full health when the weather improves and I hope both things happen soon!
Fingers crossed that you're both on the road to recovery now, though you mention your shoulder, I've also acquired an aching shoulder this week, I think it's down to the way I'm sleeping. It's quite painful though.
ReplyDeleteWe’re getting there, Jo. My shoulder pain has affected my arm down to the elbow and I have to sleep on my back. After about a fortnight it seems to be improving.
DeleteI am glad that the biopsy results were good Sue. Of course, it is necessary to help Martin in the treatment of the nose. I hope you both quickly recover and your shoulder will allow you to start planting vegetables on the plot.
ReplyDeleteI am surprised how much you ordered vegetables and seeds for planting.
I’m hoping so too, Nadezda
DeleteHope you and Martyn and doing well Sue.
ReplyDeleteWe’re doing OK thanks Dave
