I hope you have your hatches battened for this coming weekend? Might make for some interesting February photos, and hoping you stay safe!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly sounds as though things will get exciting, Deborah
DeleteHow exciting to see signs of the new allotment year Sue 😄 I bought some seed potatoes today and am now wondering where to keep them. I don't really want to plant before mid April. I will probably keep them in an unheated bedroom. Where do you store yours?
ReplyDeleteWe have set our seed potatoes out in the summerhouse, Anna and will throw some fleece over if frosts are predicted.
DeleteThat sounds an ideal spot. We no longer have an outdoor shed so the bedroom is the coolest spot I can find. At least I don't have to worry about any frost damage.
DeleteYour allotment looks lush even during winter. All the new starts are exciting to see. Even our snowdrops are blooming now. We had several days of above normal temps so they popped open. I almost had a hellebore blooming too but now it is back to winter. It won't be long tho.
ReplyDeleteIt’s certainly good to see the first flowers of 2020, Lisa
DeleteI always enjoy seeing your photos of the Wildlife Park and it's nice to see signs of plants beginning to wake up too, but my favourite this month has to be Tivvy, such a lovely photo.
ReplyDeleteAs you can guess we have loads of photos and videos of Tivvy, Jo but i just want the real her back!!
DeleteWOW I was not excepting the zoo animals, hahaha. Fabulous photos of a very interesting and busy month. Best of luck with all your spuds and ohhh the bulbs are ready to explode with colour - exciting!
ReplyDeleteNeedless to say they were not on the allotment, Carrie
DeleteWhat great photos! I can't get over how green it is. I needed to see some green, as my world is very white right now.
ReplyDeleteYou do get lots of snow don’t you, Bonnie. Usually at most we will have a week’s worth each year and not really deep.
DeleteOh, wonderful pictures as always. Those cats!!! I really enjoyed them!xxx
ReplyDeleteAs long as we are separated from them, Dina
