Lovely photos Sue. I love titmice too!
ReplyDeleteThey are very quick little birds, Nadezda and very cute.
DeleteJust beautiful.xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks Dina
DeleteCheeky pigeon!
ReplyDeleteThe wood pigeons, mallards and squirrels were a bit of a problem taking the seed and peanuts faster than we could supply them Jessica.
DeleteSo cute little bird! ;)
ReplyDeleteThey are definitely cute, Malar.
DeleteLay down some seed and they will come...eventually :)
ReplyDeleteWe carry seed and peanuts whenever we go that there are birds to photograph, Margaret.
DeleteGreat captures, Sue! What a good idea taking seed with you too. I've seen someone do that once, pondside, with a stump next to the path of a woodland walk. It was the mallards that eventually chased off the smaller birds in this case.
ReplyDeleteThe lower tree stumps fall prey to mallards if they spot you. The smaller birds just hopped in and grabbed seed from under the wood pigeons noses.
DeleteThe squirrels also are regular feeders so we take some peanuts too. There are supposedly hawfinches and goldcrests at Clumber Park but we haven't spotted any yet.
Martyn was also checked out by a swan who seemed sure that he had food in his camera bag - it came rioght up to him and started following him like a dog. That was before he had even been in the bag.
