ReplyDeleteI had trouble deciding which of the hundreds of photographs to include in the post, Dina I missed out the black swans originally but ended up adding them later.
DeleteI wish I had even a fraction of the talent you have with a camera. Stunning photos! Next time, you must come along on my vacation so I actually have a few pics that turned out!!

DeleteSlimbridge looks like a great place, lots to see and the beauty is that you can get up close to lots of birds there. Great photos, I like the one of the flamingos the best.

ReplyDeletePraise indeed, Margaret - thank you! I'm glad you liked them as I always wonder when I post non- gardening topics that people may feel I am straying off the point but I figure they can just ignore posts that are of no interest.
DeleteI'm not sure that anything 'natural' isn't part and parcel of gardening and an interest in growing things! It is always great to see your photos of the wildlife you see, and it gives us a more rounded picture of you both too:) I particularly love the photo of the black swans, I have never seen any. I feel a trip to Slimbridge coming on.
ReplyDeleteI agree, sweffling it's good to know thar the bloggers that we follow are not just two dimensional. Slimbridge is great, buy a bag of grain and some of the birds will get VERY up close and personal

ReplyDeleteThe pair of ducks in the second photograph, the flamingos and the black swans aren't really native to the UK, Malar. Our native swans are white although we do occasionally have black swans arriving nowadays. Slimbridge has foreign species as well as native ones.
