Lovely. We're in the midst of flowering season, so much colour about at the moment.
ReplyDeleteThe red and yellow flowers are from my new hot colour bed, Jo. Their first season so I am particular happy to see them flowering.
DeleteLovely flowers.
ReplyDeleteThey are, Daphne
DeleteAwesome! Beautiful flowers! Would you please to share me about the names of your flowers? I only know your rose and passion flower. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteEndah, the first one is gaillardia - Arizona Sun, the second is monarda - Fireball., The ine after the passion flower is kniphofia - Red Hot Popsicle and the last is the seed head of allium - Christophii.
DeleteLovely, I like this time of year when there are lots of flowers x
ReplyDeleteIt's the second blast after spring isn't it, Jo?
DeleteBeautiful - I love bee balm; I'll have to find a for it once I tackle the perennial beds.
ReplyDeleteThat should read "find a spot for it" - my fingers are slow this morning.
DeleteMy fingers always seem to haver a mind of their own, Margaret and I'm sure that the keyboard jumps about out of mischief. That variety is Fireball that is supposed to be less prone to mildew.
DeleteHow beautiful !! Your summer garden looks amazing !!
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Thank you. Ela
DeleteIs your first photo one of Gaillardia "Arizona Sunset"? I had one of those that was fab for one year but died the following Winter - which surprised me.
ReplyDeleteIt just says gaillardia Arizona Sun, Mark so is probably the same. It's new this year so we will see whether it survives.
DeleteA lovely selection Sue - I love the hot colours.
ReplyDeleteI have a new hot bed plated up that I am looking forward to seeing in full bloom, Elaine.
DeleteGorgeous! I love the passion flower. Are they difficult to grow?
ReplyDeleteOurs grows like a weed Sue. In fact a concrete patio is built on top of the actual root. Many varieties are more tender thiogh
DeleteGreat pictures Sue, Monardas don't do well with me, I find them very prone to mildew, too damp and shady.
ReplyDeleteThat was something that worried me Rick but this variety - Fireball is supposed to have some resistance to mildew. This is it;s first year and so far so good even though a lupin planted alongside it is covered in the stuff
DeleteBloomtastic Sue!
ReplyDeleteThank you Angie
DeleteLovely blooms! I like the orange colour flower! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's a kniphofia , Malar called Red Hot Popsicle.
DeleteGorgeous, especially the passion vine! Mine is covered in flowers this year.xxx
ReplyDeleteOurs too, Dina
