A worthy winner. They're all dressed beautifully for the red carpet.
ReplyDeleteOr even the green carpet, Jo :)

p.s. serving as a gentle reminder that mine seem to have disappeared!!!
Oh dear that's a shame, Deb. I seem to have lost our two hellebore niger plants.
DeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteEspecially being so close to the house, Daphne where we can enjoy them in the warmth,
DeleteLast February we went to a nursery specialising in Hellebores and were astonished to see they come in such a range of colour shades from golden to virtually black, and in so many different plant habits (short and squat to tall and stately). A favourite plant of the season.
ReplyDeleteWe bought three primrose coloured ones and three nearly black last year SandD but they were only small plants and haven't yet flowered - maybe next year.
DeleteEach and everyone, beautiful. You forgot the picture of the Oscar ;-)
ReplyDeleteFancy forgetting that, Bren : -)

DeleteLovely photos Sue...I really need to get back into wordless Wednesday!!
ReplyDeleteYou will indeed, Tanya
DeleteI've just bought a pink one with freckles called 'Tutu' - I can't believe I never used to like Hellebores - and even though they are quite expensive to buy they do seem to last forever when they are in flower.
ReplyDeleteI bought mine as a collection of young plants a few years ago, Elaine so the cost was reasonable and since then they have also self seeded.
DeleteVeritable stars all of them Sue :)
ReplyDeleteTheir popular stars, Anna
