Love the bearded tit - fab markings
ReplyDeleteIf you go to my Facebook or Twitter page, there are more photos of the bearded tit there, Belinda
DeleteI shall go there now
DeleteOn facebook I am Susan Garrett
DeleteBeautiful bird photos as always. Thank goodness for some sunshine!
ReplyDeleteThe sun has just disappeared, Deborah :-(
DeleteYour photos are wonderful. It's so interesting to see the Oyster Catcher, we have them here but their feathers are entirely black, not one speck of white, but the eyes and bills and legs are the same.
ReplyDeleteYet another bird that bears the same name that looks different in our two countries, Michelle
DeleteLovely Sue the Mandarin duck is my favourite, terrific close up well done Sony for producing such a great bridge camera.
ReplyDeleteIt does have amazing colours and patterns, David. A guy sporting a camera with a two foot lens said that I’d never get a photo of a bearded tit unless I was shooting at 1/100 of a second. Wish I could show him that I did.
DeleteAh one those types, Ive met them. Well you did and thats all that matters
Delete:-)

ReplyDeleteThanks Linda - we had a good couple of days.
DeleteWhat a gallery of delights, sounds like my kind of weekend!!! xxx
ReplyDeleteNot a peahen in sight, Dina.
DeleteLovely photos sue, pensthorpe is a great place to visit, we try and get there every couple of years. I like the more 'countryside' areas too, a bit further from the main visitor area. Oh and a tip for next time...try and get hold of a Norfolk Days Out discount brochure beforehand as they usually have vouchers for money off admissions :)
ReplyDeleteWe had a trailer ride around some of the wilder parts, Lou as we only had the afternoon there we didn’t have time to watch;k around the whole site. Thanks for the tip.
DeleteOh Pensthorpe must be a great place to visit Sue. If my memory serves me right there's some excellent planting there as well as all those fascinating birds.
ReplyDeleteIt was, Anna and there were garden areas too.
