We had four days of hatches battened again, and more of the same from tonight through to Wednesday. My garden waste bin is full and not due for collection until March 11!!! Your experience with Kings is not good, and I hope it will be sorted out soon, and maybe free seeds? Well, you can hope. Happy to hear Ruby had had her stitches removed, but she's obviously learned V E T already!
Yes VET is on the list of words to be spelled out, Deborah along with BISCUIT, LUNCH, DINNER and CUPBOARD (where the biscuits are kept) she also responds to RIGHT which she takes to mean something good is about to happen. I fail to see why garden waste bins are not collected at times when gardeners are producing lots of waste - at least we can take ours to the allotment compost heap. Kings are not on my Christmas card list,
I'm glad that Ruby's op went without a hitch, you and she will be glad to have those stitches out. I'm sure you're crocuses will have opened up today, I can't believe how sunny and warm it is, the sunshine wasn't in the forecast. I can't see what the hold up is with Kings, other seed suppliers haven't got these same issues, what terrible service.
The crocuses opened for a short time yesterday too, Jo. I've emailed the Managing Director of Kings and had a read receipt so at least I know my message has got through. I've also done reviews on their website and Trustpilot and placed a comment on their Facebook page. I'm like Ruby playing tug when I am annoyed.
Isn't it lovely to see the early bulbs opening Sue 😄 My crocuses have started to croak this week. A shame that Kings are dragging their heels with your group order. I imagine that you are aware that other seed companies offer similar discounts to allotment societies, garden clubs etc. I can't remember which one our allotment society used but it worked well.
I know that T&M have a similar scheme, Anna but they have a minimum order and I don't know from year to year how many will order and how much our bill will come to.
That is just awful client care! Myself I had a job logging in online because they reset everyone's passwords. (The reset link ended up in my spam filter.) But once I was back online my order went through and was delivered within 10 working days. The decision to put bulk orders from loyal customers to the back of the queue was a bad decision.
Good to know all went well with Ruby. Lovely seeing your spring flowers, harvest and meals. I'm glad you managed to get out, we had one nice day and now it's back to endless rain. What a pain about the seeds. I'm still waiting on all sorts, so many packages seem to be lost.xxx
It is good to see some of the things you cook from all your veggies. the chicken and veggie pie with the pastry top sounds especially yummy. I can empathize with the vet visits. Our last trip involved a cat in a carrier who screamed the whole time. At least her lungs are healthy!
Oh yes I know Where's Wally? books....I see Ruby (just about ha ha), glad she's doing ok. I'm so shocked at the length of time your seed order is STILL taking, terrible service :(
Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment - it is great to hear from you and know that there are people out there actually reading what I write! Come back soon. (By the way any comments just to promote a commercial site, or any comments not directly linked to the theme of my blog, will be deleted) I am getting quite a lot of spam. It is not published and is just deleted. I have stopped sifting through it and just delete any that ends up in my spam folder in one go so I am sorry if one of your messages is deleted accidentally. Comments to posts over five days old are all moderated.

ReplyDeleteIt's been lovely today - Thursday, Dina and hopefully tomorrow will be the same.
DeleteI am hoping that I may have finally got somewhere regarding our seed order.

ReplyDeleteRuby has to go for her booster in a couple of weeks which I'm not looking forward to, Dave

ReplyDeleteI couldn't get Ruby to wear a stripy tee shirt and beret, Karen. Fingers crossed that seeds should arrive tomorrow.
