I see, Sue that October was warm and dry enough, wasn't it? What are those yellow fruit? pears or quince? Look tasty!
ReplyDeleteI also noticed you have dug a lot this month, here and there are beds with fresh dug soil. Love your rich harvest.
Some days were fairly cold compared to recent temperatures, Nadezda but plenty warm enough for digging.
DeleteThe fruits are quince.
Wonderful photos - is it odd that my favourites are all those beautiful, freshly dug up beds?? ;)
ReplyDeleteOnly a gardener would say that,. Margaret
DeleteI do enjoy your monthly photo recaps. I'm missing the flowers already.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that, tpals.
DeleteIt's amazing seeing how much is going on in your garden even in late fall. Your leeks are looking especially fine. Our leeks are just starting to gain some size with the cooler weather and lots more rain.
ReplyDeleteI don’t imagine that our leeks will do my more growing, Phuong.
DeleteI'm jealous Sue, our plot has been pretty much shut down since the end of September, so much still going on there.. Good work!! :O)
ReplyDeleteSounds like us last year, Dicky.
DeleteSo many blooms in October! I am sure you will be enjoying the harvest too. Yumm.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to see some of the birds in your area.
We are enjoying our vegetables, Lisa
