Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment - it is great to hear from you and know that there are people out there actually reading what I write! Come back soon.
(By the way any comments just to promote a commercial site, or any comments not directly linked to the theme of my blog, will be deleted)
I am getting quite a lot of spam. It is not published and is just deleted. I have stopped sifting through it and just delete any that ends up in my spam folder in one go so I am sorry if one of your messages is deleted accidentally.
Comments to posts over five days old are all moderated.
Reds and Purples to the fore. (Animals excepted!)
ReplyDeleteI have heard of a Red Lion but not a four legged variety.
DeleteThe "...& Other Places" wording in your blog header is fully justified, Sue! You have taken some very nice animal photos recently. I was going to say "wildlife photos", but I suppose caged animals don't really qualify as wildlife. Won't be long now before you're taking photos of frost!
ReplyDeleteThe animals are rarely in cages, mark - only when it is necessary for medical reasons or some other protection. The lion enclosure is about 10 acres. The Polar bears also have 10 acres.
DeleteI have been away for much of September so missed all of this - as usual, it's lovely to see how you spent the month as well as the treats that emerged from your garden.
ReplyDeleteHope that you enjoyed your September, Margaret.
DeleteOh goodness....those cat and bears leapt out at me!!! Amazing!xxx
ReplyDeleteThe bears are the latest to be rehoused after living in tiny cages in Japan, Dina. The expressions of wonder at their new surroundings was what will stay with me. The tigers and rhino are part of an endangered animal breeding programme. They have already had three tiger cubs and also some leopard cubs. The rhinos are new additions and it was fascinating watching one playing with the tyre like dog would play with a toy.
Deletebeautiful compilation!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Endah
