Lovely pictures, especially the two chicks swimming. Did you see any Clumber Spaniels, I wonder?
ReplyDeleteNo we didn't see any Clumber spaniels, Deborah. I had to look them up.
DeleteThose chicks are gorgeous, but I must admit I have a huge soft spot for squirrels, red or grey!
ReplyDeleteHi Rachel, I like squirrels too but wish the reds and greys could live in harmony. The greys of Clumber Park are quite tame and numerous.
DeleteOh my goodness, those Greylag Goslings are just so cute. Such a wonderful photo.
ReplyDeleteThe goslings were cute. There were actually three adults guarding them.
DeleteOh how adorable! And that squirrel is also beyond cute - so long as it stays out of my garden, that is :)
ReplyDeleteWe do get squirrels in our garden, Margaret but they generally confine their attentions to bird feeders.
DeleteGoslings are so pretty, Sue. I see the squirrels are grey and ours are rusty. Have a nice week!
ReplyDeleteOur native squirrels are the reds, Nadezda. The greys were introduced from America and have out competed the native species which is now only found in some parts of the UK.
DeleteFabulous photos Sue but my favourite just has to be those fluffy ducklings :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Anna they were really cute.
DeleteLoved these pictures, so detailed. Daughter and I were in York last weekend and Canada geese and offspring of all ages where everywhere. It's so annoying seeing children chasing goslings, I had to intervene, parents just thought it was cute! Infuriating when roads are close to grass verges...sorry for the rant!!!
ReplyDeleteJust lovely - thank you for sharing xx
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure, Carrie
