OH, my goodness! He is a handsome fellow for sure. I don't think I've seen such spectacular colour on a pheasant before.

DeleteThey really are amazing looking creatures....they so often give me a heart attack when I disturb them whilst out walking though...noisy things!!

ReplyDeleteNo, Malar, the photograph was taken onm our day out on the North Yorkshire Moors. Just as well as he could be quite destructive in the plot.

DeleteI grew up hearing the cackel of pheasants. They are wonderful birds. You got some great photos.

DeleteThey're such beautiful birds, aren't they? Even the females have beautiful markings even though they're not so colourful. My mum and dad used to get them in the garden in their old house.
