Terrific photos of a very beautiful foxy lady!
ReplyDeleteShe is really in good condition, Deborah even with young to look, after,
DeleteThis is so beautiful!!!!! Foxes can be a nuisance but I'm always fascinated when I see one and you could even photograph her so close, great.
ReplyDeleteShe wasn't so close, Janneke, I used a zoom.
DeleteAah, so clean and beautiful. I particularly like that 2nd photo
ReplyDeleteShe is beauty, Belinda.
DeleteWhat terrific shots! How fortunate you were to spot that beauty.
ReplyDeleteShe is a regular visitor to a friend's garden, Sue. She and her family live on land behind them. Men with dogs have been seen roaming the area which is worrying.
DeleteThat is very sad, because we all know what "men with dogs" means. Beautiful pictures, rarely see foxes here (that men with dogs thing again, sadly there's a great deal of that sort of behaviour round here).
DeleteThe police and RSPCA have been informed - it's very sad that some people's mentality is to persecute anything that can't fight back. Put them on an African plain with no means of protection and see how 'brave' they are then.
DeleteMore great shots. What camera do you use?
ReplyDeleteI used a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000, Jessica. It was on full optical zoom and using burst mode.
DeleteShe does look fit and well. Many years ago I sat and watched cubs playing in a field, unfortunately I didn't have a camera with me.
ReplyDeleteJust hope that she is fit enough to keep herself and her cubs safe from the men and their dogs, Brian
DeleteSue, she really is a lady, very curious and cute. I love your photos, very close shots.
ReplyDeleteThank you Nadezda
DeleteVery cute, I adore foxes and enjoy watching them in the fields here x
ReplyDeleteWe rarely see them around our house, Jo only occasionally crossing the road. We see evidence of them on the plot.
DeleteSo darn cute - I don't think we have foxes in our area, but there are a lot of coyotes. Not as cute, but good at keeping the rabbit population down.
ReplyDeleteFoxes are good at keeping rabbits in check too, Margaret.
DeleteHow beautiful. You were at the right place just at the right time!
ReplyDeleteAnd I had my camera with me Alain as we had been to a bird of prey display.
DeleteA proper fox, beautiful! Our urban foxes don't have that glorious russet coat and can be very noisy at night so not so endearing.
ReplyDeleteShe is a beauty, Caro. As you say a gorgeous colour.
DeleteGoodness, what a beauty! How marvelous to see such a perfect specimen without any mange! Lucky you getting that close. How awful to hear that the hunters are around though, I do hope she and her cubs stay safe.I did enjoy these pics.xxx
ReplyDeleteI thought you would like her, Dina. I hope she is wily enough to stay safe too.
DeleteGreat shots Sue - she looks in pretty good nick.
ReplyDeleteShe is Elaine, we just hope she can outfox the men with dogs
