A beautiful world in miniature. You have reminded me, I once had a garden full of such plants but they have slowly disappeared, and now I wonder where they went? What happened to them?
ReplyDeleteMaybe they just gradually faded, Deborah and came to the end of their natural life.
DeleteThere are such wonderful plant combinations here, Sue. It's lovely to see them looking so healthy and happy. I am delighted to see Aubretia!
ReplyDeleteI thought that you would approve, Sarah,
DeleteI've always enjoyed the softness of spring colors---your combinations are charming. A true delight! Is that deep blue one a phlox? I'm in love with it!
ReplyDeleteThe deep blue is lithodora Heavenly Blue, Sue
DeleteLovely little flowers, I love the dark blue one. It looks a lot like blue lobelia I had couple of years ago. Such rich blue colour is so rare in flowers and I just adore it.
ReplyDeleteThe lithodora is a beautiful blue, Leanan.
DeleteWOW...these are some vibrant springtime colors. I especially love the yellow flower at the end...my late grandparents would have loved that, as yellow flowers were their favorite :)
ReplyDeleteThe yellow is a mini narcissus, New Baby, OE
DeleteBeautiful color bed!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Endah.
DeleteWow! Those flowers are so pretty! The area is so colourful! I like the blue flower!
ReplyDeleteI love the blue colour too, Malar.
DeleteGood things come in little packages.
ReplyDeleteAt 5' 1" and a bit that is my well used mantra, Jessica.
DeleteI love your bed with wonderful combination of colors, these bright blues are very pretty, Sue.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nadezda.
DeleteIt's looking great Sue, alpines are so rewarding, you can pack in so much colour and texture into a small space.
ReplyDeleteThey are indeed, Janet.
DeleteWhat ever their size they are gems.
ReplyDeleteVery true, Brian.
DeleteWhat a treat! You just can't beat the miniature world. I did like those close ups!xxx
ReplyDeleteOne of the advantages of having the flowers raised up is that you are treated to a great view, Dina.
DeleteDefinitely! I do enjoy midget flowers too - they add great contrasts to other plants too. Great colours, I'm still enjoying the purple aubretias - snap :-)
ReplyDeleteAt one time every garden had aubretia didn't it, Shirley? For some reason it fell out of favour.
