ReplyDeleteWe took loads of photos David, it was quite dark but the cameras seems to cope quite well. We are putting together an album at the moment which we will post on Zenfolio. For a lot of the time the birds just turned the back of the heads to us.

ReplyDeleteThatt was only a little owl, Sue. It was very cute and very inquisitive but I couldn't see a sign to say what species it was.
DeleteStunning birds! Now, where DID you see them? I often see these birds at festivals etc and always feel sorry for the nocturnal ones out in the daytime.xxx
ReplyDeleteThey were at Rutland Owl and Falconry Centre, Dina
DeleteLove the photographs, did you visit anywhere nice to take them? x
ReplyDeleteIt was Rutland Owl and Falconry Centre, Jo. I had mixed feelings about it really. The general impression was that the centre is more interested in people who book hands on experience and it doesn't really cater for passing visitors. Although we enjoyed seeing the birds . There are very few amenities just a portaloo really
