I am getting quite a lot of spam. It is not published and is just deleted. I have stopped sifting through it and just delete any that ends up in my spam folder in one go so I am sorry if one of your messages is deleted accidentally.

Very pretty
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely from upstairs windows, Jo as they are level with the canopy
DeleteThat's a gorgeous Magnolia Sue :) It's definitely worth the wait isn't it! What name is it?
ReplyDeleteI tried to grow 'susan' 'Stellata' and one other variety her but they just didn't survive.
Such beautiful flowers though.
Linda
We just bought it as Magnolia soulangiana, Linda and the label showed it as a dark purple but once it flowered it was this colour. By then we didn't want to dig it up. My sister has a tree that came from a cutting that I took years ago.
DeleteBeautiful, so many flowers.
ReplyDeleteIt is always like this, Jo - every year but the flowers soon start to drop.
DeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt is Dewberry - always a highlight of the year
DeleteBeautiful!! Great photos. Hoping to see our first ones out today!!
ReplyDeleteIs your the same colour Bren?
DeleteJust better late Sue! I have noticed a number of plants delayed by the awful weather, because they are late, are not being damaged by night frost. My pieris red foliage is brilliant this year, it normally is frosted to a brown mess. Visitors to my friend Peter's Open day on Sunday saw a magnificent display- as featured on my previous post.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I am hoping too, Roger. Our pieris is lovely this year too.
DeleteHow beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteThe wind today isn't doing the tree any favours, Kelli nor the fruit blossom.
DeleteAwww I envy you so much. Magnolia?
