I am getting quite a lot of spam. It is not published and is just deleted. I have stopped sifting through it and just delete any that ends up in my spam folder in one go so I am sorry if one of your messages is deleted accidentally.
Comments to posts over five days old are all moderated.
Then they'll lichen it today, though it's more damp than wet.
ReplyDeleteIt's just murky and miserable here, Jo
DeleteI love close up nature photography. The simplest things in nature can be so beautiful when to take the time to study it.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing what you see on a photo that you never notice with the naked eye Kristen. For instance the little cup shapes that produce the spores or seeds.
DeleteGreat colors on both photos and look at the size of that thing on the first photo! Really impressive.
ReplyDeleteI have some amazing lichen photos taken in the Highlands of Scotland Marko
DeleteI love that first photo --- what an unexpected texture and color! Very nice. :)
ReplyDeleteI love photographing lichens, Jo. The textures and shapes are so interesting
DeleteGreat photo of something most people would just walk by… instead you capture the beauty of what it is.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us on WWB. See you on Wordless Wednesday Bloggers throughout 2013!
The photos are two kinds of lichen growing on our plum tree Jennifer.
DeleteIf you are interested I've written about what lichen are on my website here
I think the first one is Xanthoria parietina as it is very common - I'm not too sure about the other one. Neither harm the trees,
I will try to take part in your WW as much as I can if I have a photo worth sharing
