Great photos! The rhubarb is coming along nicely and looks like you are ready to plant!
ReplyDeleteThat's our earliest variety of rhubarb Kelli and at least the beds are ready to plant up if the plants aren't yet
DeleteLooking good, especially the rhubarb.
ReplyDeleteDreaming of rhubarb crumble Jo
DeleteEverything looks so lush and green! Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteI think the grass paths add to the lush effect Robin
DeleteThat's your allotment?..it is really huge, so much area to grow!
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference in our climate, as our rhubarb hasn't even poked itself out of the soil and the snow came back last night...sigh. Your photos gave me a lift, I must say.
And we easily fill it Bren! Oh dear snow - I hope we don't see any!
DeleteThat "Battalion" of Primroses looks as if it should be in my garden, not yours!
ReplyDeleteBut you don't do flowers Mark!
DeleteMy mum grows rhubarb for me - this has reminded me to cook the stuff I have in the fridge. Your garlic looks like its coming along nicely and I love all the new shoots and buds.
ReplyDeleteLots of garlic to plant out in the greenhouse too Liz - we'll have more than enough if it all grows!
DeleteAll looks fantastic Sue, what's the plant with a cluster of yellow flowers?
ReplyDeleteIn Cockermouth yesterday I was told twice that we're going to have snow at the weekend, it was certainly cold enough yesterday afternoon. Grrrr.
There were supposed to be captions with the photos BW but Picasa ignored my instruction to include them so I've reset the album. The cluster of buds is a wallflower. They are planted just by the shed to give us perfume at coffee times. Being between the blueberries we never grow vegetables there so no danger of passing on any brassica diseases.
DeleteSNOW - eek!
Lovely photos Sue.
ReplyDeleteThanks Damo
DeleteEverything is looking great Sue...I have to say I'm quite envious of that rhubarb!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I am just plain jealous of your winter brassicas!!!!
The winter brassicas have a way to go yet Tanya.
