I just harvested all my squashes. Does anyone have a tried and tested method of keeping them? Is a frost free garage okay or a greenhouse with some straw as protection against frost? Does anyone have some good recipes for using squashes?

I am getting quite a lot of spam. It is not published and is just deleted. I have stopped sifting through it and just delete any that ends up in my spam folder in one go so I am sorry if one of your messages is deleted accidentally.

We left a butternut squash in a veg rack in the garage for over a year and it was fine. It's cool, dark and frost-free in there.
