I am getting quite a lot of spam. It is not published and is just deleted. I have stopped sifting through it and just delete any that ends up in my spam folder in one go so I am sorry if one of your messages is deleted accidentally.
Comments to posts over five days old are all moderated.
Send it here - its getting a bit too dry for my liking at the moment.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be great if we could share the weather out so we all had our fair share of everything Liz?
DeleteI can't believe how much rain we've had. It's been dry so far today, but it's gone a bit dull now, I don't think the day will pass before we get some more.
ReplyDeleteAfter what looked like a didgy start we have had a dry afternoon and actually got some plotting in. I'll report back in a later post
DeleteLots here too. The chickens have their own Glastonbury going on in what used to be an okay lawn... Lovely leaf pics - April is the best month for Alchemilla photos.
ReplyDeleteYOu'll have to buy them some mini wellies Jules.
DeleteBeautiful photos!! We need rain here and hopefully tomorrow we will get some.
ReplyDeleteI hope that it comes your way instead of ours then Bren.
DeleteFab photos, Sue - just the sort of thing I enjoy! We have had loads of rain too. It seems we get either feast or famine these days. so much for our "temperate" climate!
ReplyDeleteMust admit I thought of you Mark when I took them
DeleteI'm with you all the way on this one - there's no way I can get on the plot - it has been raining solidly all day. I knew I shouldn't have done that 'rain dance' when it was dry. Be careful what you wish for!
ReplyDeleteIf ir isn't the rain stopping us Elaine it's too flippin cold!
DeleteNot much rain here but I'm with you on the cold .... brrrr, woodburner needs to be on each evening when we sit down.
ReplyDeleteIt's just such a disappointment after the lovely week in Scotland - I suppose that would have been when we would have got the allotment jobs done - how silly of us to go on holiday!
DeleteLots of rain here but plenty of time between showers to get things done. Much needed as south wilts has just been declared a drought area.
ReplyDeleteThe trouble is showery weather is no good for us when we have to decide to travel to the plot, Damo. By the time we've decided to go we have another shower and also it is often taining at the plot when it isn't at home and vice versa.
DeleteWE haven't had a drought declared in spite of no rain last year - I guess the work done by Yorkshire water worked.
Brilliant sunshine one minute, torrential downpour the next, the chickens are looking extremely bedraggled and they too are creating there own mini muddy festival in the back garden.
ReplyDeleteOn the plus side, my three 200 litre water butts are overflowing and everything is very green and pretty. Lets remember later in the year when we are complaining about not enough rain that its all or nothing here now...
Chickens wil soon evolve so they have webbed feet, Lorraine. It is all or nothing - maybe a tune that could be played at the chick festival!
DeleteI know the feeling Sue...I am now so sick of the rain...i just want one day where it stays dry...is it really too much to ask?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteJust had two consecutive dry days, Tanya - today we are back to rain again
